4 Monkeys Studio is a creative corner for children to explore and develop their skills in the visual arts! Offering a broad range of mediums and subject matter, your kids will love the opportunity to create masterpieces!  Classes are taught by Jen Main B.A., B.Ed., M.Sc. - a qualified high school art teacher!

CHILDREN'S CLASSES are held on Saturdays -  8 week sessions in the fall, winter and spring.

Art Explorers (ages 4-6):  This creative program is designed to introduce young children to a wide range of art mediums!  Acrylic and watercolour painting, pastels, collage, printmaking and more.  Children in this class should plan to come and have fun with art!

Saturday October 19 - Dec 7, 2013

Young Artist (ages 7-10):  Our young artists will learn some of the basics of perspective, proportion, colour theory and composition while experimenting with a wide range of materials and techniques such as drawing, painting, air-dry clay, collage and ‘found’ media. This is an enjoyable introduction to skills and an opportunity to expand creative horizons!

 Saturday October 19- Dec 7 (8 classes) 10:40am - 12:10pm or 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Cost: $145 (all materials included)

Masters' Apprentice (ages 11+): Students focus on 4 artists during the 8 week session drawing anywhere from antiquity to contemporary artists. Students will have the opportunity to learn both about the artists and their work while creating their own masterpieces based on the techniques and/or style of the great masters! Art mediums will be mainly focused on drawing, painting and mixed media. 
 * Class content will change from one session to the next to allow for continued registration.
