The Shelburne Rotary Club has pledged to provide the milk and cereal for the Glenbrook Elementary School Breakfast Program for the next three years and recently presented a $1,000 cheque to cover the first year. The Glenbrook Breakfast Program provides nutrition and smiles to help students prepare for the day ahead. Centennial Hylands and Hyland Heights also have breakfast programs.

The Ballagh Bunch will be entertaining at the Saturday night finals of this year's fiddle contest - August 9 at 6:00 pm. Come out and see Championship fiddlers and toe-tapping entertainment. We are very pleased to announce that Linsey and Tyler Beckett will be presenting the Thursday evening show at the Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship on August 7, 2014 at 7:30 pm.
The Beckett Family is sure to get your toes tappin’ - traditional music from Western Swing to Bluegrass, including exhilarating step dancing, down home humour, ole tyme fiddling and special guests.

The 64th Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship will take place August 6-10, 2014.

The Rotary Club of Shelburne recently celebrated the grand opening of the BMX track at Greenwood Park. The Club is proud to work with its partners to provide this great facility for the youth of Shelburne. Get out there and enjoy it!
